6 months ago i reached a point where I realised that if Paul and I were to progress, I needed to change my approach to work with him instead of  trying to get him to work with me.

A perfectly timed post by Tegan Lush Eventing Team mentioning Kerry Thomas and sensory soundness  started me on the path of ‘understanding from the hoof’ and since then ive immersed myself in learning and understanding Kerry’s work.

So when the opportunity arose to have a session with Kerry in Perth, I jumped at it and I’m so grateful that I did as Paul and I achieved our goal of being calm and confident in our first public outing (even if Larry had to tag along for emotional support) and excited to put all our new learning into practice.
