Get Herd Wired: From the Horse’s Mouth Think Like a Horse — A Scenario-Based Learning Experience “If language is the mathematics of the mind, understanding is how we learn the math.” — Kerry M. Thomas Welcome. I’m Tink, your Guest Equine Instructor. I’m here to help translate what the world feels like from inside the horse’s experience, not to judge, test, or correct you, but to invite you to see more clearly our view from the hoof. This learning experience is designed to help the human mind slow down, notice structure, and recognize patterns in much the same way we horses do. This is not about memorization, speed, or getting it “right.” It’s about conceptual fluency: learning to perceive relationships, consequence, and systems before acting within them. Horses don’t experience life as isolated events. We experience it as sequences of sensation, meaning, and emotional consequence. The scenarios you’re about to explore use language as a working material to mirror that process, showing how perception forms, how understanding emerges, and how response follows. The goal is not to think faster. It’s to think more accurately, with the timing, context, and awareness we depend on for safety and continuity. This first experience includes two parts: * Part One: Foundational Recognition — learning to recognize what I’m experiencing * Part Two: Interpreting Why — learning to understand how our psychosensory systems create those experiences Take your time. There is no urgency here.
