...environmental design, live horse demonstrations, and individualized horse-and-rider coaching.

Unlike traditional clinics that often begin with technique, this Masterclass begins where every horse begins:
With experience.

Day One — Become the Student

We begin by exploring how horses naturally gather information, interpret their environment, create associations, organize awareness, anticipate change, and prepare to respond.
Then we leave the chairs behind.

Participants enter the arena themselves, using specially designed sensory experiences to explore environmental awareness, interpretation, anticipated response, associative learning, Shared Awareness™, communication, spatial relationships, focus, and intention.

Working individually and in teams, participants begin discovering how much information exists within an experience that may never be obvious from the outside.

The goal is not to pretend that humans can experience the world exactly as horses do.
It is to begin asking a better question:
What might the horse be experiencing that we have never learned to consider?

Day Two — Let the Horse Become the Teacher

Now the horse enters the map.
A skilled demonstration rider brings the Sensory Mapping™ environment to life while Kerry interprets what is happening between the ears, connecting the horse's sensory and emotional experience with practical application from the saddle.

Selected horse-and-rider partnerships then participate in individualized Masterclass sessions where behavioral interpretation, skilled riding application, and thoughtful coaching come together in real time.

The objective is never simply to complete the course.
It is to discover what the horse's experience of the course can teach us.

Sensory Mapping™ isn't ultimately about navigating obstacles.
It is about learning to navigate experience.

The course is not the lesson.

The horse's experience of the course is the lesson.

Helping humans understand horses as nature created them, so they can thrive in the world we've created for them.

For nearly three decades, Kerry has walked this road alone, building, teaching, and sharing the emotional and behavioral science that connects horses and humans at their deepest levels. What began as a personal calling has become a global movement, now recognized by the Royal Dutch Equestrian Federation, universities, and equestrian professionals around the world.

Join the movement to bridge the gap between the natural herd dynamic and the domesticated world. Stay in the know and join as a site member today.
